We provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement. Desensitisation Reprocessing,Trauma Focused Cognitive Therapy, and clinical assessments. All psychological treatments are provided in accordance with the current evidence base and the published NICE clinical guidelines.
We support people going through personal injury claims, family court action, employment rehabilitation processes and medical negligence cases. Our team of approved experts work directly with the client and their legal representatives , which means that we significantly cut down on the time, cost and administration involved when working via a medico legal case management agent.
All psychological treatments are delivered by fully qualified CBT and EMDR therapists under the clinical supervision of an assigned BABCP and/or HCPC registered psychologist.
By using case management services we understand that going through legal proceedings following an incident or traumatic event can be a highly distressing experience in itself. In our professional experience, this is often compounded by the time, complexity and expense of working via a case management agent. In practice, the client’s case is sub-contracted out from the case management company to a qualified clinician who often receives a fraction of the fee paid to secure the necessary treatment. This means that legal costs are unnecessarily inflated, extending timescales and placing additional pressure on settlements and insurance claims.
This protracted administration process can feel indiscrete, intimidating and dehumanising for the client. Sensitive personal information is passed through several layers of bureaucracy in the chain of treatment and this over complicates the process and contributes to error and delay.
Most importantly, legal representatives and clients always receive a direct and personalised service where they can discuss the necessary treatment and support required to resolve the case in a sensitive, fast and straight forward manner.
